  • Beautiful

Modern Radiohead at their best. They must be mad to have not chosen this theme for the movie. Greenwoods string arrangements are on another level. A shame indeed - but I guess we still get the song.

why didn't this make it home to the bond opening credits?...don't ask me... ask the ministry... dark rumbling conspiratorial...

Simply haunting beyond words, far superior in so many ways to Sam Smith's effort, wonderful swooping and soaring strings
  • Uber missed opportunity Mr Bond!

Could not agree with you more JuicyPineapple. Absolutely sublime song!
  • Modern Bond Classic That Wasnt

    By SciaticaSquonk
I can understand why Sam Smith was selected due to mass popularity in the charts but Radiohead created and produced a real haunting classic with echoes of John Barry and a sinister feel that represents the menace of S.P.E.C.T.R.E itself. Rumour has it that it was Daniel Craig`s idea toget Radiohead to do the theme. Whover had the idea not to use it - Burn The Witch!!
  • What a shame.

I'm staggered that this was turned down for the Bond theme. Radiohead's attempt provides a haunting and spacious outing - which syncs up confusingly well with Spectre's opening credits. Jonny Greenwood's compositional skills are at their very best here. It might not be for everyone, but heck, it's better than the tripe Sam Smith provided.
