  • Breathtaking

Every single piece of music from the movie is beautiful. James Horner was such a talented man. <3
  • Beautiful (one of the best soundtracks to a film)

I think it's amazing how all the variations of the same basic tune are used and incorporated into the movie. I think it fits the movie very well and it portrays the sheer scale and grandness of the Titanic. It also fits very well with the love story between the two classes, and the segregation between them. I think it is very moving, and it touches greatly to me, and I hope it touches generations to come. «lullabies of the Titanic» Great tribute to the tragedy and the victims. RIP. It'll never get old :)

thanks for the soundtrack, please can we have the movie now??!! you went to the effort of putting the 1960's version in your vast movie library, but everyone just wants a bit of leonardo dicaprio.... as for the soundtrack, well of course it's going to be brilliant, it's james horner :) [i just skip celine dion's track...it was great at first, till it became the most overplayed song ever written]...
  • Flawless

By this is the ony nickname I could find that had not been taken
After the disaster of their working relationship on Aliens, James Cameron and James Horner thought they would never work together again, but after hearing the score for Braveheart, Cameron overlooked it and asked Horner to compose the score for Titanic. And thank God he did. I can't imagine this film without the score. It's so synonymous with the film, whenever I hear it, in taken back to the emotional voyage of Jack and Rose. The music is beautifully composed, and contains so much emotion, from the joyous "Take Her To Sea, Mr Murdoch" track, to the heart wrenching "A Life So Changed". This soundtrack is beautiful, and I can even overlook the Celine Dion track *shudders* thanks to its sheer elegance, finesse, and character that it brings the film. A true masterpiece.
