Love smells like nirvana one of the best parodies I've seen in a while Oh and for all you losers who go around commenting on how crap everything is Kirt Cobain loved this parody and saw it as proof that his band had gone mainstream Hardly insulting nirvana then is it

I scanned through your reviews. Is there anything you like at all? Anyway, parody (pronounced pah-road-ee, look it up) is a way to have a laugh and I think you're taking it a bit too seriously. Weird Al is the best.

I've only heard Smells Like Nirvana, and I have to say that that was a hilarious parody of one of the best songs ever. It's a must-have for any Nirvana fan, as well as any Weird Al fan. And, just so nobody else insults Weird Al for no reason other than their own ignorance and misguided pride, Smells Like Nirvana is something that people call a PARODY (pa-row-dee); that is, it is a humourous tribute to the original. By creating a funny version of their song, Weird Al is basically saying 'Go Nirvana, you rock!', which means that to insult his parody is almost like insulting the actual song itself. After all, insulting someone who praises someone else who you happen to like is probably not going to make you look good (or intelligent, but we won't go there). To finish off with, Smells Like Nirvana is an amazing song to go down in the annals of time, and those who disagree can just choose not to listen to it. 'Nuff said.

Jeez, why can't you all calm down. Yes Nirvana are a great band, but you obviously dont know 'weird al', he also is a great artist. And he's not trying to make fun of them either!

You idiots, Nirvana were still going when this album was released originally, and they had to have given him permission to record it. Great song, great album Al!
