Vol. 2 is so much better than this! Go buy that one!<333
im a gleek all the way
glee is amazing, some songs not so good but otherwise it's amazing. All you gleeks out there, you know what im talking about
I enjoy this album but some tracks were too boring and would have preferred Go Rest Ye.... to have been Quinnn only as she has a beautiful voice and Santana wasn't right for the track, also the changes to songs like Your a mean one was better as mean sue than mr grinch as sue was a grinch :) So a few of these track to summarise should have be thought out better and taken out the weakest songs and replace them with stronger ones :)
Well, I personally liked it...
If you don't like Glee, then why are you reviewing this album?
I enjoyed this album as a whole, but I have to say that Chris Colfer and Darren Criss' rendition of Baby, It's Cold Outside stole the show! Beautiful :)
Yes, I admit it, I'm only here because I'm a complete AVPM/S fangirl. I love Chris and Darren's version of Baby, It's Cold Outside. Completely beautiful, in a very non-cheesy way. It makes a nice change from all the rubbish I'm used to hearing at christmas - every time my mum tried to change this track I shouted at her and changed it back; all my family know the words now.
Darren Criss deserves this, he's a beautiful singer, though we Sarkids got him first ;)
I find this album upbeat and entertaining, as I do with all the Glee albums. All of the Glee albums have great, moving, upbeat songs and then some of the slower more meaningful songs. The real shiner on this album is Chris Colfer - yet again - with 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' his voice is an asset to my iTunes library.
Some of the songs have been revitalised like 'Jingle Bells and 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen'. I also found Kevin McHale's voice features on this album heavily which I love, it's wonderful that this album isn't Lea/Cory focused, and although I adore both voices thay can become repetitive.
WHAM! should sue that nasal bint
