I still can't get enough of this album. It has to be my favourite from Hillsongs. Every song is fantastic and gets me praising my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I really love Love Is War, and no, I'm not Christian, but I really love that song! I think it's really beautiful, so I listen to it with my own meaning, and that's how I live.

Hillsong United used to sound like a rock band, but they wanted to make a really good album this time and they took extra time over it. Their new keyboardist has brought a lot of retro synth flavour and it sounds like a mix of the best bits of Depeche Mode, Vangelis and Queen. The lyrics are powerful and heart-searching, and the arrangements have a lot of variation in terms of the synth sound samples and use of percussion. If you don't like keyboards, maybe this isn't the one for you. To these ears though, this is definitely Hillsong United's best-ever album. The fact that it went Top 5 on the US Billboard chart means I'm not alone in thinking that, either...

Don't know if they were trying to find their new sound or something but its basically like they found a good idea/theme got a bit exited and couldn't let go of it...not enough variation! You really have to focus on the lyrics because the incessant synth undertones get a little tedious after a while. I'm aware this is Hillsong United and it is not 1995 but I really miss the trumpets and cheese! Skip to oceans!! (Somewhat reminiscent of Coldplay/Ellie Goulding) A slow builder with epic conclusion. Also relentless is quite catchy.

Hillsong are people Instruments are wood, metal and plastic Sound is simply waves being created these things... ...the reason this album is great is because it combines the above to worship the one who really lives and has paid the price of sin... It's all about Jesus

I will be first to admit I have found the last few Hillsong albums samey with one or two unique songs and sounds but the best all sounded very similar… Zion is different. They bring back the passion and heart cry from some of their earlier albums with unique sound. This album will have you crying out to sing these songs at church and with your mates.
