... a CD I cluelessly picked up in the late 90s that still resonates with me. Dark, evocative and hugely satisfying at the end of an evening

First bought this upon release and has been a pivotal part of my listening pleasure. Excellent production and flow from start to finish, each song has its part to play. Must have bought this a few times over the years but don't think I would be without this, somewhere, Man Next Door still pings my receptors frequently. Look forward to Jan concert. Buy it!!

This is Massive Attack's most coherent, unified album (miraculous really as the key members were in conflict about the direction of the band during its production). It's stunningly beautiful. Stand out track is Teardrop (familiar as theme from House); but every track leaves a strong mark.
  • Just stunning band

Not much else needs writing. Every music collection needs Massive Attack. Just listen to Teardrop and you'll see what I mean.
